Howdy! Thought I'd stop by and update you on the online side of the Agrileader. My name is Cody Lillich, I am in the Class of 2010 and this semester I'm serving as the assistant editor for the e-zine.
If you are unfamiliar with the e-zine, it is an online version of the Agrileader, similar to the print version, but it incorporates forms of new media. This gives us the opportunity to link the reader with sites to learn more information, and even attach video clips to offer a unique view on a story that only video can give.
The e-zine is something very new, with the first-ever issue worked on by students in the Spring class, and released this semester. If you have not checked it out, I encourage you to check it out by clicking here.
This week, we heard from our writers who tossed out some interesting ideas that show just how large our college is and how many different stories there are to tell. Our writers also got the chance to test out the department's flip video cameras and practice interviewing in video form.
It will be fun to begin piecing things together and start incorporating forms of new media into our magazine. Keep checking back for updates!
